ACCOUNTANT
We are seeking an experienced Accountant who will be responsible for the management and reporting of the organization's financial performance with thorough analysis to maximize the overall profitability of the Company. Develop strategies and tactical initiatives to insure Company meets its strategic business objectives. Advises the executive level on long and short term fiscal issues to support the successful growth and operation of the Company.
Primary Responsibilities include: • Provides financial leadership and counsel in decision making process to ensure attainment of
corporate financial goals. • Lead the annual budgeting, forecast and planning process for the organization. Insures
accuracy of budgets, forecasts, estimates, revenue and expense recognition and financial
reporting • Review and manage Cash Flow analysis • Provide proactive analysis of transaction trends, product and client-level profit/cost analysis. • Develop and initiate cost saving internal control and other activities to improve financial
performance. • Serves as liaison with banking institutions regarding credit management issues. • Proficient in the preparation and analyze financial statements, ledgers, P&L, forecasting,
budgeting and variance reporting • A/P and A/R management, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing activities. Insures the
accuracy and timeliness of closing, including providing analysis and variance explanations. • Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and provides relevant fiscal
information to executive management team. • Assist EVP in compiling and completing projects that are financial in nature. • Serves as liaison with banking institutions regarding credit management issues. • Ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality regarding sensitive financial and business
information
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or equivalent education and/or experience. • 5+ years of relevant accounting and financial management experience. • Previous experience with small company models within a manufacturing environment with
MRP knowledge is preferred • Experience with Quickbooks or equivalent • Cost Accounting experience • Must possess excellent financial modeling skills (forecasting, statistical analysis, financial
diagnosis). • Superior Excel skills
